Strange Bug

I heard knock sounds again in my studio. This was the 4th time; 4 distinct knocks. Unlike the previous 3 times which occurred in the dead of night, this happened during daylight, about 8 pm. It startled me enough to want to get out of the house so dog and I went for a walk. As we approached a pond, upon hearing the peepers and other sounds, I got a flash of an image: a strange double-sided bug. Unlike the representation here, it was carved into a light-colored stone.

  1. The "bug" could almost be a piece of circuitry.

  2. And if you rotate it 90°, it looks like an Arcade Space Invader ;-)

  4. BTW, the knocking you report is intriguing. I take it you've read Strieber's account of the "nine knocks" in "Transformation" and "Breakthrough"?

  5. LOL - space invader! That just might make sense from a certain point of view.

    Yes I know about the knocks Strieber wrote about. These were not like that - they did not occur in a predictable pattern. They were all on different nights / days over a period of about 2 weeks. The first 3 occurrences were at night, approximately between 1 - 3 AM. These were "bump" sounds coming from the back of my studio, like something hitting the outside wall or coming from the crawl space (my studio is over the garage with storage area along the back). The first of this series one was only 1 bump, then the 2nd and 3rd times were 1 or 2 bumps seemingly blended together. The most recent occurrence was early evening and much more like "knock" sounds (sharper, crisper) coming from a different wall, not anywhere near the crawl space. These were 4 very distinct sharp knocks in the following pattern: 1 (pause) 2 (no pause) 3 (pause) 4.

  6. Morse Code:

    e = 1 dot
    i = 2 dot
    e = 1 dot

    t= 1 dash
    m = 2 dash
    t = 1 dash

    One anagram:

    Time met. ;-)

    I wonder what you would get if you were to work out two of same anagram...

    wikipedia has Morse...
